Quirky wedding has the numbers on side

HOW quirky is this?

Last month, Jayne Hosking and Sean Gower tied the knot on the 11th minute, of 11th day, of the 11th month in 2011 after being together for 11 years.

The young St Helens couple never seriously thought about marriage until earlier this year and the now Mrs Gower said their beach wedding was the "best day of our lives".

"We met 11 years ago at the pub, which is very classy," Mrs Gower said with a chuckle.

"We have been together for 11 years and earlier this year it dawned on us that it would be our 11th year anniversary and it would actually be 11-11-11.

"We have never seriously contemplated marriage after living together for so long and because of the quirkiness of it we thought if we were ever going to get married that would be the day to do it."

The pair was blessed with perfect spring weather for the small intimate family gathering at Cosy Corner, before feasting out at the Binalong Bay Cafe and honeymooning around Tasmania.
